Texas Corn Producers has asked Extension Agents to help promote a Farm Bill Educational Meeting coming to El Campo, October 18th.  It will be on Friday, October 18th from 9:00am to 11:00am at the El Campo Civic Center, 2350 N Mechanic St, El Campo. The meeting will be in the Duson Room.

Texas Corn Producers is hosting Farm Bill workshops that will guide you through the process of making important farm program decisions specific to your farming operation.

Joe Outlaw, Ph.D., and Bart Fischer, Ph.D., will walk you through the decision-making process using the latest farm bill decision aid tool offered by the Ag and Food Policy Center at Texas A&M University in partnership with the U.S. Department of Agriculture.

Although 2019 enrollment opened Sept. 3, 2019 and must occur first, a producer waiting until Oct. 7, 2019 to enroll is afforded the opportunity to enroll in either ARC or PLC for both 2019 and 2020 during the same USDA Farm Service Agency (FSA) office visit.
