Food service managers are encouraged to attend a food safety training program on May 20-21, 2024 at the Northside Education Center, 707 Fahrenthold St in El Campo. The Professional Food Manager Certification Training Course of Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Service, called “Food Safety: It’s Our Business”, teaches techniques for preparing and handling food safely when serving customers.
Food safety impacts the bottom line of any eating operation by reducing legal fees paid on medical claims, by improving employee productivity and morale, by reducing food waste and most of all, by boosting customer confidence. You must register for the Training Course in advance. Registration information can be obtained by calling the Wharton County AgriLife Extension Office at 979-532-3310, or by checking us out on the Wharton County FCS – Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Service Facebook page. The registration deadline for the training session is May 10, 2024.
