AGRICULTURAL WORKER ESSENTIAL CRITICAL INFRASTRUCTURE AUTHORIZATION On March 19, 2020 the Department of Homeland Security identified the specific industries that comprise Critical Infrastructure Industries (available at https://www.cisa.gov/publication/guidance-essential-critical-infrastructure-workforce). Texas Agriculture Commissioner Sid Miller requested Texas Governor Greg Abbot recognize the agriculture industry as an essential industry which provides a service indispensable in the effort to protect our nation’s food supply.
