The Wharton County Beef and Forage Committee is happy to announce that it is hosting a Spring Beef and Forage Seminar on Thursday, March 24, 2016. This production conference will address TDA pesticide laws and regulations; deeprooted sedge control in pastures; The Veterinary Feed Directive; Beef Herd Productivity; A New Pest of Bermudagrass: The Bermudagrass Stem Maggot; and a Beef Market and Price Risk Management Update. A meal will be provided by our generous program sponsors. The conference will begin at 2:30 p.m. and end at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday, March 24, 2016 at the El Campo Livestock Auction Barn in El Campo, Texas. Two (2) CEUs will be awarded to TDA Pesticide License Holders. Please give us a call at 979-532-3310 by noon on March 23rd to let us know that you’ll be attending.
