The 30th annual Upper Gulf Coast Grain Handlers Conference will be held on Tuesday, January 17, 2023 at the El Campo Civic Center in El Campo, Texas.  An informative and timely program has been planned to provide grain handlers with valuable information. Along the upper Gulf Coast, there are still reports of mixed success when treating stored grain insects. Additionally, worker safety and fall prevention continue to be extremely important as accidents still occur due to many factors. These topics will be addressed by expert speakers and scientists, four hands-on learning sessions, a panel of experts and local operators for Q&A, and of course a Laws and Regulations update.

Pre-registration will be $25.00 per person and will be accepted through Friday, January 13, 2023.   Forms and payment may be sent to the Colorado County Extension Office at 316 Spring Street, Columbus, Texas 78934.  Registration at the door will be $30.00 per person. Make checks payable to Texas AgriLife Extension/GHC.  For a copy of the Grain Handlers Conference Flyer, go to https://colorado.agrilife.org/files/2022/12/2023-GHC-Flyer-1.jpg

Five (5) Continuing Education Units will be offered (pending approval from Texas Department of Agriculture) for all licensed pesticide applicators that check in at the beginning of the conference and remain through the conclusion of the day.

We look forward to seeing you in El Campo for the 2023 Upper Gulf Coast Grain Handlers Conference.   For more information or to pre-register, call 979-732-2082.
